A Dhobi or washermen at the ghats in Bombay (now Mumbai) in India works on a pile of steaming clothes. All of Mumbai's laundry comes here to be washed by hand by hundred's of men (and some women) who wash, air and press the clothes of the 15 million inhabitants of the city
