India - Tamil Nadu - Shiva devotees ritually bathe under a waterfall

Followers of the Shiva sect of Hinduism (known as Shaivites or Shaivas) ritually bathe at a Hindu Bathing festival at Courtalam waterfall, Tamil Nadu, India. The town is dedicated to Lord Thirukutralanathar (Lord Siva). The Chittar River flows through the town into the main falls called the Peraruvi.
