Hungary - Pecs - The Bank building in Pecs
The Bank building in Sz,àö¬©chenyi square, Pecs, Hungary..Pecs has been chosen as the 2010 European City of Culture. The city is on the southern slopes of the Mecsek Hills and has a sub-Mediterranean climate. Settled by Romans as Sopianae, it was a significant Christian settlement. Later conquered by the Ottomans, it has important Turkish architecture.
