Sao Tome And Principe
Manuel da Cruz, a Curandeiro or traditional healer at his home, Sao Tome. The curandero dedicates their life to the administration of remedies for mental, emotional, physical and spiritual illnesses. Many make use of herbs, water and mud in treatments and some employ Catholic elements, such as holy water and icons. Sao Tome and Principe, are two islands of volcanic origin lying off the coast of Africa.
