Detail of artworks in the Museum of Saint Agostina, Genoa, Italy.Begun by the Augustinians in 1260, it is one of the few Gothic buildings remaining in the city, after the numerous demolitions in the 19th century. Secularised in the 1790s it eventually became a museum of architecture before being destroyed in the Second World War. Reopened as the Museo di Sant'Agostino in 1984.
