The Appiani family tomb in the Staglieno Cimitero Monumentale, Genoa, Italy..Famous for its monumental sculpture and covering an area of more than a square kilometre, it is one of the largest cemeteries in Europe..The tomb was used as a cover for the English Post Punk band, Joy Division's album Closer and designed by Martyn Atkins and Peter Saville.
