A man being assaulted during a demonstration by supporters of the right wing FRAPH (Front pour l'Avancement et le Progres Haitian) militia. FRAPH was established by Emmanuel "Toto" Constant as a paramilitary force to oppose the activist, later President Aristide. Political violence is common in Haiti which is one of the poorest nations on earth.
